Your washer had one job. If it's leaving water in the drum, refusing to spin or quietly flooding the laundry room, we'll track down the cause and get your top-load or front-load washer back to work.
Most washer trouble comes down to a handful of parts. Here's what we check first, so you know what you're probably dealing with before we even arrive.
| Symptom | Common causes | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Won't drain | Clogged drain pump or filter, kinked drain hose, failed pump motor | Clear the blockage or replace the drain pump |
| Won't spin | Lid switch or door lock failure, worn drive belt, motor coupler, unbalanced load sensor | Test the lock, belt and motor, then repair the failed part |
| Leaking water | Torn door boot seal, loose hoses, cracked tub or pump housing | Find the exact source and replace the seal, hose or pump |
| Won't fill | Faulty water inlet valve, clogged inlet screens, pressure switch | Test water flow and replace the valve or switch |
| Won't start | Door lock, control board, timer or power supply issue | Check power and controls, then repair the fault |
| Loud noise or shaking | Worn bearings, shocks or suspension rods, foreign objects | Inspect the suspension and drum and replace worn parts |
No mystery, no runaround. You'll know what's wrong and what it costs before a single part comes out of the box.
Tell us the brand and what it's doing (or not doing).
We test the drain, spin, fill and controls until we find the real culprit.
You get a clear price for parts and labor. You decide.
We run a full cycle with you so you see it working before we leave.
Whatever's in your laundry room, chances are we've had our hands inside one:
We fix washers all over Charlotte and the towns around it. If you're close by, we're probably closer than you think.
The most common causes are a clogged drain pump filter, a kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump. Many front-load washers have a small filter door near the bottom you can check first.
Leaks usually come from a torn door seal on front-loaders, a loose fill or drain hose, or a cracked pump. If it's a big leak, shut off the water valves behind the washer, grab some towels and give us a call.
If the washer is under about 10 years old and the problem is a pump, valve, belt, lock or seal, repairing it usually makes more sense. If it doesn't, we'll tell you straight. We'd rather lose a repair than sell you one you don't need.
